Train for games. Not For Drills.
Skill development built around real game situations.
TRAINING NOT TRANSLATING?
If you or your child works hard but struggles to produce — there's a reason. Most training is designed to look good. Not to translate.
Endless cone drills that never mirror real game decisions
Open-court ball handling with zero defensive pressure
Shooting form work with no reads, spacing, or timing
Skills that look great in a gym — invisible come game time
The Method
Our System
Train It
Every session starts with a focused skills block — ball handling, shooting, footwork, or defensive technique. We build the tool before we use it.
- ● Ball handling & footwork
- ● Shooting mechanics
- ● Weak hand development
- ● Defensive technique
Understand It
I use film and examples to break down real game situations. Players learn why decisions work or fail — building the IQ that makes everything else click.
Apply It
Skills move immediately into game environments. Real reads, real spacing, real pressure — the way it actually happens on the court.
- ● Mini games with live reads
- ● Off-ball screens & cuts
- ● Attacking closeouts
- ● Freedom to make mistakes
- ● Film breakdown & review
- ● Decision-making analysis
- ● Q&A with Coach Luke
- ● Real game context
“High-level training that translates to every level. Coach Harper made every summer I had back home pay off, the results came in the fall.”

Real Players. Real Results
Real decisions, real spacing, real situations — every single rep. That mindset is what got me to UT Tyler, and hopefully even further!""

Coach Luke's training is unlike anything I had in Europe. He teaches you to read the game in real time — every rep has a purpose.

Who I Am.
My Story
I was largely self-taught, even though this was challenging it forced me to understand the why behind every move, every read, every decision on the court. Because I tThat's the same understanding I bring to every player I train today.
The Journey
Ive been all over the place, first as an All-American scorer at John Brown University. Then as a All-Conference Point Guard at East Central University. After college I played professionally in France and Luxembourg. Then joined the coaching staff at Lorena High School, helping the team make a run to the regional finals.
Skill and basketball IQ gave me an edge — and that edge can be taught.
Why I Train
My goal is to always be a positive influence in my athlete's lives — helping them grow into people with character, who have a purpose, and who live life as a light to others.
